Aged in large oak barrels for 18 months. Dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Elevated spicy dark raspberry, ripe cherry and liquorice all sort aromas mix with earth and subtle dried herb notes. Juicy, plump and fleshy, the palate sports ripe dark raspberry and dark cherry fruits over some liquorice, earth and spice nuances. Silky smooth tannins with a very supple feel. Good depth with a sumptuous conclusion. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Alc. 14%
Shiraz made with a family story in mind. Its a story about a cow but you will need to buy the wine to find out more. Alternatively you could ring the winery. Estate grown Shiraz from the Greenock vineyard. A quieter style of Shiraz with finesse and elegance.
